		<description>Adobe has blocked developers from accessing the OS in any platform-specific way, which basically dumbs everything down to the lowest common denominator across all platforms.  Though you can check the OS and customize keyboard shortcuts, most developers only bother with the common keys plus whatever ones they are used to.  

It sucks but I guess that&#039;s the trade-off for easy cross-platform development.  The next version of AIR promises to open up a few OS features in limited ways.  Hopefully they&#039;ll continue to bring in things like native spell-checking and standard keyboard navigation.</description>
