WordPress Header Images

Posted by on Apr 28, 2011 in Updates | No Comments

This is a collection of flower-themed header images designed for the WordPress Twenty Ten theme. All the headers are based on photos I took myself in Bristol. The images strike a good balance between picture quality and file-size (each full-size image weighs in at a maximum 41KB.)

To use these, first download the images to your computer. Each sample picture, below, has a link underneath it to download the full-size version. The full-size files are exactly 940x198 pixels, perfect for the Twenty Ten theme.

Then head for your WordPress Admin Interface. If you’re running the Twenty Ten theme (the default for WordPress 3) you’ll find “Header” under the “Appearance” menu. Upload the file using the top option the Header options page. You should then be able to select your shiny new header graphic and see it working on your blog right away.
