I run a phpBB forum. I hate spam. It seemed natural to celebrate phpBB 3.1 Ascraeus’s release with a few shiny new extensions to help defend its users from spam. I’m currently working on extensions for Google reCAPTCHA v2.0, Akismet, and a “geomoderator” that moderates posts by country, using the MaxMind GeoIp database.
